A1QA Software Testing Company participated at Software Development Best Practices Moscow 2007, the Russian version of its highly-acclaimed software development conference held annually in Boston, Massachusetts, USA.

A1QA Company traditionally paid attention to the events linked with IT-sector. Therefore, their representatives took part at the summit. Olga Ananko, their QA Manager, introduced a presentation on “Security Testing” within Track 1, Session 5. Security, on the 4th of April.

Olga started her presentation with attention to security testing as a separate test type. Then she moved the issue to general application scheme, main vulnerabilities in web applications and principal components of security testing. Olga told about major types of attacks (authentication, sensitive data, input & output) and security testing of business logic.
